The Ascot Club:
Take in a spectacular sunset at Ascot Village where you’ll also find the focal point of our community: a 12,000 square foot private clubhouse complete with a restaurant and bar, an indoor pool, a well-equipped fitness center, a meeting room and library, and guest suites. The Ascot Club also features an incredible exterior landscape, including a large outdoor patio with tables for dining amidst the breathtaking views, a courtyard garden sitting area complete with a fire pit, and a waterfall sitting area featuring a spring fed stream.
The Greeter’s Cottage and Gated Entry:
At the entrance of The Ascot Club at Highland Forest you will find The Greeter’s Cottage, a state of the art building reminiscent of yesteryear that serves as both a guard house and greeting room for our guests to be welcomed and acquainted with our community. Guests can sit by a crackling stone hearth and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the sounds and sights of the adjacent spring fed streams and native flora.
Overlook Parks (Proposed):
With elevations and views like you’ll find at The Ascot Club at Highland Forest, of course you will want to venture out to one of our any destination overlook parks. Owners and guests alike can venture out to either of our overlook park locations, which you can find at the end of Ascot Parkway (4500′), or at the top of our property at well over 5000′! All of our park locations will receive viewing pavilions and are outstanding destinations for picnicking and socializing.
Trout Pools (Proposed):
Our Trout Pools amenity is our own variation of a trout pond. At our elevation, the local trout species include the brook trout and the brown trout, and we are creating a special habitat for these trout that migrate in and out of our property by way of spring fed mountain streams.
Children’s Village (Proposed):
The Children’s Village is a wonderful place for your children or grandchildren to play and explore in our mountain wonderland. The Children’s Village will feature a playground and adventure area featuring handmade native materials along wondrous children’s amenities such as a tree house and a tee pee.
With a shared border of 500,000 acres of Pisgah National Forest, it is safe to say that The Ascot Club at Highland Forest has a variety of hiking and nature trail options available for the fitness minded and backpack hikers alike.
